Shiatsu is a manual therapy rooted in ancient Eastern medicine. This therapy is based on a holistic approach, recognizing the inseparable connection between body and mind and their continuous interaction with each other and the world around us. Therefore, I focus not only on your specific complaints but also on you as a whole.


During the treatment, I apply pressure to your body using my thumbs, palms, and elbows. This is combined with rotations and stretches of body parts and joints to help your vital energy—known as Qi, Ki, or Prana—flow freely again. I integrate shiatsu with various forms of body-oriented therapy, drawing on a wide range of knowledge and techniques to support you in your process. Examples include breathwork, somatic exercises, craniosacral therapy, and the polyvagal theory.

I’ve always been curious, driving my parents to despair with my endless "why" questions. This deep curiosity about life set me on a journey of discovery that ultimately led me to the body. My body has taught me the importance of listening to it—and listening is no easy task in a society that’s always switched on.


Despite many attempts to pursue a "grown-up job," I never felt happy or in the right place. I longed to work with my hands, be outdoors, and have the freedom to manage my own time. It always led me back to what I’m truly good at: supporting people, building community, volunteer work, cooking, and try to live as simply as possible. In 2012, I completed a yoga teacher training, and that opened the floodgates. I began taking various courses and training programs, all centered around the body’s self-healing capabilities. In 2021, I graduated as a Shiatsu therapist, but this doesn’t mean I’m done; I have become a student of life, for life.


Being a therapist comes with responsibilities such as ongoing education and peer supervision to ensure my expertise remains up to date. I have extensive experience with stress and burnout, complemented by additional training in these areas. Moreover, I specialize in the autonomic nervous system, psychotrauma, stress-related disorders, and eating disorders.
